Level: Is a die you roll as part of every dice pool.
Attack: Is a die you roll as part of every Physical Attack, but not Special Attacks.
Physical Attack Types: Fighting, Flying, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, and Poison.
Defense: Is a die you roll as part of every defense against Physical Attacks, but not Special Attacks
Special Attack: Is a die you roll as part of every Special Attack, but not Physical Attacks.
Special Attack Types: Water, Grass, Fire, Ice, Electric, Psychic, and Dragon.
Special Defense: Is a die you roll as part of every defense against Special Attacks, but not Physical Attacks
Speed: A one or two digit number that has two functions. The first of which is to determine who acts first, which is simply the Pokemon with the higher speed, in the event of a tie flip a coin dummy. The second function is critical hit chance. If an attack hits and its total is less than or equal to the attackers speed then it is a critical hit, in which case step up the damage effect die two times.
STAB: Same-type attack bonus. when a Pokemon uses a STAB move step up the damage once.
Learning moves: to learn a move the Pokemon must be at the indicated level and spend 10 exp.
